Little Else Than a Memory

As mentioned in the About Us page, this is not the first time that Purdue Students have investigated the Purdue University’s Archives and Special Collections in order to delve deeper into Purdue’s history.

During the first honors course, the students chose a particular member of the class of 1903-1904 to research in order to create “critical biographies” from the remnants of these long-ago student’s lives. Last year’s students also performed original research in the archives and compiled their findings into a written form. The result was a collection entitled Little Else Than a Memory: Purdue Students Search for the Class of 1904, published by the Purdue University Press for the Honors College.
